The Alijos 2-Speed Lever Drag is a lightweight, compact bodied, big fish stopping machine. Built with 6061-T6 machined aluminium for ultimate strength. The clicker mechanism has also been reworked to give a louder clicking sound for livebaiting applications. Whether its Jigging for kingfish at the Three kings, or slowpitching for Snapper in the Hauraki gulf the Alijos will have you covered.
The Alijos Lever Drag Reels will be available in 6 different variations and sizes. There will be a 5 narrow, 5 standard, 12 narrow high speed, 12 standard, and 12 high speed. All of the high-speed reels will feature a 6.4:1 gear ratio with the standard putting out 4.7:1 on the 12 and 4.3:1 on the 16. All Alijos reels are constructed with 17-4 Stainless steel spur cut gears for all-day smoothness.

Okuma's Machined Rigid Frame construction incorporates a one-piece fully-machined aluminium frame. These rigid bar-stock aluminium frames are the ultimate in precision alignment and tolerances withstanding more pressure and torque than any other material used in our industry for frame materials.

Dual Force Drag System
This drag system is specifically engineered to be mounted in the right side of the spool, designed around a Pull Bar Drag System which keeps all mechanical workings in precise alignment and places no pressure on the frame.
